Excel Pensions Ltd cannot provide advice on which investments that you may wish to hold in your SSAS. Members are advised to seek advice from a suitably qualified financial adviser. Professional advisers may be appointed to the SSAS to advise the member trustees.

All instructions to invest the SSAS proceeds must be agreed upon by all members, and written instructions provided to Excel Pensions, who will look to execute these instructions on behalf of members.
BUSINESS PLANNING
Where members wish to purchase a commercial property in the SSAS, it is permissible for the SSAS to apply for borrowing on the property, of up to 50% of the net scheme assets.
This is subject to the lenders normal lending criteria. It is very common for the members business to trade form the commercial premises held by the SSAS.
PROPERTY
One of the main aspects of a SSAS is its ability to purchase commercial property, including the trading premises of the sponsoring employer, which can then be leased back at open market rent.
